Co-Design and Engagement Lead

Talent International is seeking a Co-Design and Engagement Lead to join their team in Geelong, Australia. As a key member of the Co-Design & Engagement branch, you will play a critical role in delivering co-design activities that engage with people with disability and other stakeholders.

Job Description:
  • The successful candidate will provide specialist advice and support to deliver co-design activities.
  • You will offer expertise on new and innovative approaches for engaging with people with disability and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement targeted and proactive co-design strategies.
Responsibilities:
  1. Support the delivery of co-design activities, including planning, delivery, outcomes tracking, and evaluation.
  2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve data capture and analysis for decision-making.
  3. Develop plans and co-design strategies requiring detailed research, data analysis, and diverse views.
  4. Prepare reports, briefing papers, and discussion papers for review by Senior Executives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strategic Stakeholder Management skills, maintaining close working relationships with key national representative and peak bodies.
  • Understanding of the Disability Advocacy sector and ability to represent Talent International in stakeholder interactions.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate reputational risks associated with communication, engagement, and business activities.
  • Leadership skills to deliver timely, innovative, efficient, and evidence-based advice on inclusive engagement practices.
  • Ability to manage ongoing implementation and governance arrangements of inclusive strategies.
  • Experience preparing reports, briefing papers, etc. for senior executives and government officials.
  • Experience in the disability sector and engaging with government.

This position requires an Australian citizen to be eligible. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
