Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced rehabilitation consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.

Your primary responsibility will be to work with clients to identify their goals and develop strategies to achieve them. This may involve case management, developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs, and collaborating with medical and allied health professionals.

In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively work with clients, employers, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counselling, or tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Social Work, or Nursing.
  • Registration: Full or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) or Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australia (RCAA) as a Rehabilitation Counsellor, or registration with either AHPRA, ESSA, or AASW.
