Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated specialist to join our occupational rehabilitation team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with illnesses, disabilities, or injuries to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
About the Role- Manage your own day with flexibility and autonomy while working closely with a strong, close-knit team of healthcare professionals.
- Provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.
- Collaborate with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
- Case management, including manageable caseloads and support from experienced assistants.
- Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes for clients with diverse needs.
- Complete assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments.
- Support clients to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology registered with AHPRA or ESSA.
- Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded.
- Fabulous communication skills, compassion, kindness, empathy, well-developed time management skills, and a current driver's license are essential.
