Job Title:

Administration Assistant

Description:

Your role at our hospital involves the delivery of efficient reception and administrative functions.

You will be responsible for facilitating timely and accurate scheduling of Outpatient appointments, rescheduling and attendance.

The position requires adherence to appropriate health fund billing processes and collection of payment for any excess, co-payment, out of pockets and exclusions owed through accurate billing of patients on discharge.

Facilitating a high level of customer satisfaction is essential.

Accurate and thorough completion and signing of all relevant documentation is required.

Accurate data entry of patient admission details is necessary.

Reception duties include welcoming visitors, answering phone calls, replying to or redirecting queries as appropriate, and providing assistance as required.

Ensure Outpatient sign in procedures are completed.

Requirements:
  • Recent experience within a clerical, administration, reception, and/or switchboard environment.
  • Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in using patient booking systems and Microsoft Office packages.
