Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Guest Services Officer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
As a Guest Services Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Front Office Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle internal and external phone calls, relaying messages with proficiency
- Operate and control the telephone switchboard
- Handle guest enquiries and requests and provide information on local attractions and amenities
- Receive and relay Room Service orders to the kitchen team
- Assist in maintaining high levels of security for guests, staff and hotel property
- Ensure all public and back of house areas are maintained to the specified levels of cleanliness, maintenance and presentation
