Role Overview

Coles is seeking a skilled and passionate Indigenous Affairs Project Advisor to join our Corporate and Indigenous Affairs team. This dynamic role will support the Head of Indigenous Affairs in delivering key initiatives and events, including NAIDOC Week and Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) commitments.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in program and event management, with expertise in writing, designing, and publishing effective communication materials. They will also possess strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and report writing abilities.

About the Role
  • Communicate RAP initiatives and Indigenous Affairs issues with internal stakeholders
  • Plan and execute activities around key events such as NRW and NAIDOC week
  • Work with RAPSC and RAPWG to ensure member participation in key events
  • Develop and roll out self-identification programs
  • Lead FNTMN and Allies networks to build greater focus on IA opportunities

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits, including flexible working options, office perks, discounts, recognition, learning and development opportunities, paid parental leave, and investment in your future through our annual team member share plan offer.
