Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Indigenous Affairs Project Advisor to join our Corporate and Indigenous Affairs team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in program and event management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience working with First Nations communities.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate with internal stakeholders on RAP initiatives and Indigenous Affairs issues.
- Plan and execute activities around key events such as National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC week.
- Work with RAPSC and RAPWG to ensure member participation in key events.
- Develop and roll out self-identification programs.
- Lead FNTMN and Allies networks to build greater focus on IA opportunities.
- Ensure relevant strategies are distilled into practical and feasible delivery plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-cultural team environments.
- Ability to interpret, analyse and communicate data.
- Connection to First Nations communities.
- Strategic thinking and ability to apply to a commercial setting.
- Ability to work under limited supervision (includes attention to detail and ability to prioritise).

$95,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
