The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Onsite Support Engineer to join our Melbourne Service Centre Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of their IT services.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, with experience in networking technologies, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy. You will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers, resolving complex technical issues related to macOS, iOS, and Apple hardware.
  • Assist remote resolver teams with activities that require physical presence, creating knowledgebase articles and process documents to reduce incident volumes.
  • Deploy new infrastructure, including desk and server-side equipment, and act as the key technical representative of blueAPACHE's managed services.
  • Setup new PCs, phones, and mobile devices, and carry out software installations as per customer documented processes.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working in a Service Desk or Field Services role.
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking technologies.
  • 2+ years of experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy.
  • 2+ years of experience working with a ticket management system.
  • 2+ years of experience configuring and optimizing macOS and iOS environments for enterprise settings.
