Personal Care Assistant Role OverviewAbout the Position

We are seeking a skilled Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional personal care and support services to residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support residents with day-to-day tasks including eating, social activities, and transportation.
  • Collaborate with clinical team members to develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to each resident's unique needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care and services provided.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment by working collaboratively with colleagues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Certificate 3 in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety principles.
  • Reliability and flexibility to meet changing resident needs and adapt to new situations.
