Home Care Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live independently at home.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to clients, including household tasks, personal care, meal preparation, social support, respite, and transport.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
  • Support clients through change and provide a safe and non-judgemental environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in a community or aged care setting.
  • An Australian driver's license and a reliable insured motor vehicle.
  • Reliability, compassion, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude.
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (advantage but not essential).

Benefits:

  • Hourly rate + 10.5% Super + Km Reimbursement (92cents per KM) + Paid travel time.
