About the Role

As a key member of our kitchen leadership team, you will oversee daily operations, manage kitchen staff and ensure consistent food quality. Central to this role is your ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced pub/bistro environment and be well-versed in all kitchen areas with hands-on experience.

This position requires a Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) and a Food Handlers Certificate.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join our kitchen leadership team at The Glasshouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in managing and training a diverse kitchen team.
  • Implement and manage Food Safety Plans.
  • Prepare and cook menu items as per cooking guidelines and set standards.
  • Work in conjunction with the Head Chef to develop and implement menus.
  • Utilize your knowledge of kitchen operations to drive productivity and efficiency.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, including adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
