We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. As an electrical engineering professional with at least 7-10 years of experience in Australia, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from concept to completion. You will work on a diverse range of multi-disciplinary projects including those related to battery minerals and plant optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement electrical design specifications for large-scale industrial projects
  • Liaise with clients and project managers to understand project requirements and deliverables
  • Mentor junior engineers and designers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks
  • Collaborate with other disciplines such as mechanical and civil engineers to ensure seamless integration of systems
  • Analyse and troubleshoot complex electrical systems to identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
  • At least 7-10 years of experience as an engineer in Australia
  • Experience working in hazardous areas and knowledge of relevant Australian standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with control systems design and experience conducting early-stage studies for electrical systems
