We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As an Electrical Engineer at ngare-employment-solutions-pty-ltd, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge engineering projects and contribute to the transition to renewable energy systems and decarbonisation.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in our head office in Brisbane CBD. You will be part of a dynamic team environment with salary and benefits to match. Our team is growing, and we are looking for a locally based Electrical Engineer in the mining, infrastructure utilities, and manufacturing industries.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design exposure to LV and HV system design and cable sizing, cable management system, protection systems, substations, motor controls, and switchboards.
  2. Power systems modelling using software; Power tools for Windows (PTW), eTap, and Power Cad 5. Experience with DigSILENT Power Factory would be well regarded.
  3. Testing and commissioning experience (FAT, SAT) will be added value.
  4. Experience with engineering works in mining and/or infrastructure and/or Utilities.
  5. Exposure to generating study reports, scopes of work, equipment specifications, and datasheets will be added value.
  6. Exposure to AutoCAD and/or Micro station drawing packages will be added value.
  7. Ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to ngare-employment-solutions-pty-ltd and client standards.
  8. Ability to maintain engineering standards across all designs and projects.
  9. Be willing to work onsite to support clients and perform project tasks.
