Electrical Engineering Specialist Role
 

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in designing and delivering complex electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low-voltage (LV) and high-voltage (HV) system design, cable sizing, cable management systems, protection systems, substations, motor controls, and switchboards.

The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills and knowledge of power systems modeling software such as Power Tools for Windows (PTW), eTap, and Power Cad 5. Experience with DigSILENT Power Factory is highly regarded.

A key responsibility of the role will be to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required standards. This includes maintaining engineering standards across all designs and projects and working closely with clients to understand their needs.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3-7 years of relevant experience in the field. They should be able to generate study reports, scopes of work, equipment specifications, and datasheets, as well as maintain accurate records of project progress.

  • Design and delivery of electrical systems including LV and HV systems, cable management systems, protection systems, substations, motor controls, and switchboards.
  • Power systems modeling using software such as PTW, eTap, and Power Cad 5.
  • Delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
  • Maintenance of engineering standards across all designs and projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
