About the Role

We're seeking a dynamic Finance Professional with an Accounting degree to lead our finance team. Experience with Procura / AlayaCare is desirable, but not necessary. If you're new to the industry and have the skills to step up and lead a talented team, we encourage you to apply.

In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all transactions to and from Procura / AlayaCare. This includes payroll, procurement, customer details, and general ledger management. You'll also work with Group Finance to control Home Care debtors and manage Purchase Order control of CDC expenditure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely management of all billing to customers and brokers
  • Work with Group Finance to control Home Care debtors and provide regular reports to assist managers
  • Manage Purchase Order control of CDC expenditure to ensure accuracy and timely charges to customers
  • Dispatch monthly communications to customers in a timely manner and ensure accuracy
  • Work with the Applications Support Officer to train employees on Procura / AlayaCare
  • Assist with communications, including maintaining and developing 'How to' cards for employees on Procura / AlayaCare and financial accounting processes
  • Ensure fortnightly Time Keeping and Payroll transactions are correctly reflected in Procura / AlayaCare and Payroll systems

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, e.g., Accounting or Finance - Qualified CPA / CA or equivalent
  • Desirable: Extensive experience using Procura / AlayaCare or a similar ERP system
  • Desirable: Ability to train and guide staff in the use of ERP systems
  • Well-developed analytical, financial understanding, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills, including experience in writing reports and correspondence
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team and be self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Desirable but not necessary: Experience in a Not for Profit organisation
