About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading a team of finance officers and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all financial transactions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions, including payroll, procurement, and customer billing.
  • Managing the team's workload and providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of financial services.
  • Developing and implementing financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with the Group Finance team to control debtors and manage cash flow.
  • Providing regular financial reports and analysis to inform business decisions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in accounting or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in financial management, including leadership and team management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply financial knowledge in a people management context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
