Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with varying levels of need.
The role involves providing support and care to participants in their homes, assisting with daily personal care routines, cooking, attending appointments, and engaging in social activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support and care to participants in their homes.
- Assist with daily personal care routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for participants.
- Accompany participants to medical appointments and other activities.
- Engage participants in social activities and help them develop meaningful relationships.
- Monitor and report any changes or concerns related to participant well-being.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with vulnerable adults or children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification.
