This role involves providing personalized support and empowering individuals with disabilities to thrive in their unique ways.
- This role requires a positive personality, sensitivity, empathy, and compassion when working with participants.
- The successful candidate will be able to effectively work with children and adults, including those with disabilities and those without.
A strong collaboration skill, especially when working with a multidisciplinary team, is essential for this role.
Key Areas of DevelopmentWe focus on key areas of development including:
- Communication and social skills
- Play and emotional regulation
- Functional life skills
- In-home support and home maintenance
- Activities of daily living
- Community access and engagement
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new systems
- 100 points of ID
- A valid Driver's License (minimum P1)
- Access to a registered and reliable vehicle with minimum third party insurance or willingness to obtain
