Empowering Individuals through Person-Centred Supports

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing professional information and strategies to individuals with disabilities, their families, and staff regarding evidence-based approaches to reducing challenging behaviour.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing tailored Behaviour Intervention Support Plans to ensure seamless transitions into the community.
- Providing support and guidance to participants, their families, and networks to empower them to reach their goals and live fulfilling lives.
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality supports that make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- A Working with Children Check.
- Registration with the NDIS Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
Additional requirements include:
- A current Driver's Licence.
- Vehicle registration.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module and New Worker Induction Module.
