About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at AusNet Services. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide strategic and operational HR support to our GM Network Operations (Distribution) and other leaders within the Distribution line of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders to equip them with the knowledge and resources to manage their teams effectively.
  • Act as the voice of the business to ensure projects and processes developed out of People & Safety are fit for purpose.
  • Influence and support the delivery of workforce planning for your relevant BU, identifying current and future workforce needs.
  • Drive the delivery of talent identification, succession, development, and critical role planning for the relevant BU.
  • Support leaders to drive engagement, identifying focus areas and initiatives / responses to data.
  • Curate, plan, and execute people solutions tailored to the priorities of the business unit.
  • Support leaders with insightful action driven by data to empower decision making and uplift capability and diversity in their teams.
  • Contribute to our ability to deliver People & Safety services by demonstrating an understanding of work health safety and cyber security standards and applying them to relevant activities in the workplace.
  • Ensure compliance through actively engaging with stakeholders and maintaining awareness of relevant legislation, laws, regulations, standards, codes, and Ausnet policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and sound knowledge of employee relations practices, workplace relations, and industrial relations issues.
  • A proven HR Generalist with experience gained working in complex multi-site, matrix environments with blue and white collar staff.
  • Demonstrated experience in and working knowledge of broad HR functions, including employee and industrial relations, coaching, change management, talent management, annual performance cycles, and remuneration and benefits.
  • A confident communicator with proven ability to engage and build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Sound experience in managing end-to-end ER and complex performance management cases and investigations, including providing advice and coaching to employees and leaders.
  • Experience in leading or supporting the implementation of organisational change.
  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach with a focus on simplicity, ease of use, and employee experience.
