Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Conference and Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional events from inception through to post-event follow-up.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting end-to-end event planning and coordination
  • Preparing detailed event orders and communication plans
  • Liaising with internal departments and external clients
  • Supporting promotional activities and lead qualification
  • Maintaining accurate client databases and producing professional correspondence
  • Conducting site inspections, briefings, and follow-ups
  • Selling hotel services and identifying new business opportunities

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar Conference and Events role within a luxury hotel or 5-star hospitality environment
  • A proven track record of successfully planning and coordinating events from enquiry to execution
  • A strong working knowledge of hotel systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi, or similar events management software)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and client-focused demeanor
  • The ability to manage multiple events and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for delivering memorable guest experiences with meticulous attention to detail
  • Confidence in selling and upselling hotel services
