Currently seeking an organised and enthusiastic Events Coordinator to support the Conference & Events Sales team at Hotel Chadstone Melbourne. This position will work from Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 3:30pm.

The tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Proactively liaise with clients to gather all details relating to their confirmed event;
  • Prepare detailed event orders within our event management system, ensuring all relevant event information is clearly compiled;
  • Preparation and follow-up of conference proposals in conjunction with the Conference & Event Sales Manager;
  • Complete organisation of conference activities/events from confirmation to post-event follow-up to ensure client satisfaction;
  • Assist with revenue postings, payment charges, and invoicing for each event, working closely with clients to ensure full prepayment of all events.

Our ideal candidate possesses excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal and external clients.

A quick thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, they must also be a great team player who proactively looks to assist where possible.

Organised with a high attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multiple events simultaneously, the candidate should have previous experience in sales environments, with a good understanding of events/hospitality operations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is also required.
