About the Role

This exciting opportunity is to work for a well-established organisation that prides itself on innovation, technology, and sustainability. As a Specification Manager, you will promote the company's brand product offering and sell a product that improves energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive specification with architects, designers, engineers, and specifiers for commercial projects
  • Consult and liaise with fire consultants and ESD consultants
  • Build, develop, and grow a strong project pipeline of specifications
  • Work closely with project tracking counterparts to ensure successful specification completion
  • Stay up-to-date with NCC regulations, particularly around section J - Energy Efficiency
  • Network effectively with architects, designers, engineers, asset owners, fire consultants, and ESD consultants to forge strong relationships
  • Plan, prepare, and conduct CPD presentations to architects and specifiers
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in a specification sales role
  • Demonstrable track record of specification success and experience working in industries such as Windows & Doors, Hardware, Facades, Screening & Louvres, Wall panels & Acoustics
  • Natural ability to build rapport and relationships in the architectural community, strong negotiation skills, and ability to close deals
  • Strong work ethic and moral compass, committed to providing quality service to all customers
  • Confident presenter, self-motivated, strategic thinker, and able to think on their feet
