Overview

The Department of the Premier and Cabinet QLD is seeking an experienced Executive to lead its workforce strategy. As our Chief People and Culture Officer, you will be instrumental in shaping the department's people strategy, delivering an engaged workforce that meets current and future business needs.

About the Role

You will oversee the delivery of comprehensive human resource services, including talent management, diversity, employee engagement and recruitment. You will establish workforce capability priorities, provide direction for DPC's workforce strategy and liaise with stakeholders across government and the private sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic workforce plan that aligns with the department's goals
  • Oversee talent management, diversity and employee engagement initiatives
  • Liaise with stakeholders to execute effective workforce planning and deliver industrial relations advice
  • Accountable for the delivery of a bespoke graduate program

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in human resources, preferably in a senior executive role
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $183,847 - $200,890 per year. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.
