As a pivotal member of our business unit, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of our people. In this exciting fixed-term opportunity, you will work closely with our HR Manager to implement strategic programs, processes, and systems that align with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage industrial relations matters, including collective bargaining negotiations and disputes, to minimize cost and reputation exposure.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and commitments via organizational standards, regulations, and relevant agreements.
- Utilize workforce data to drive improvements and changes to business operations.
- Facilitate organizational development, career advancement, and succession planning across the business unit.
- Provide advice and support to managers on compensation and benefits.

About You

- 5 years' experience in a generalist environment.
- Experience in employment relations/industrial relations matters, collective bargaining interpretation and negotiation.
- Strong partnership skills with managers.
- Ability to identify needs and develop leadership capability.
- High-level organization and prioritization skills to meet deadlines for each project assigned.
- Thorough understanding of industry best practices in talent acquisition, skills development, conditions of employment, and organizational policies.
- Sound knowledge of employment law and occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
