Job Overview:
">Proposal EngineerWe are seeking a skilled Proposal Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the business development group, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting high-quality proposals to secure new projects.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong technical knowledge in Electrical Engineering. You will collaborate closely with the sales, engineering, and project teams to develop tailored proposals that meet the needs of our clients.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Review client RFQs, tenders, and specifications to understand technical and commercial requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proposal content.
- Prepare cost estimates, technical documentation, and compliance matrices.
- Develop and maintain proposal templates, pricing models, and standard content.
- Ensure proposals are accurate, competitive, and submitted within deadlines.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and technical details.
- Participate in bid review meetings and provide input on bid/no-bid decisions.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years experience in proposal preparation and proposal writing.
- Electrical Engineering skills.
- Sales and procurement experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and engineering principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field is preferred.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is a plus.
