Job Title: Proposal Development Specialist


We are seeking a skilled Proposal Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of estimates, bid approval documents, and technical deviations. They will also participate in technical and commercial negotiations, liaise with clients regarding new and existing enquiries, and update proposal lists when new enquiries are received.


Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation of detailed proposals
- Review customer specifications and prepare technical deviations
- Process revisions to existing proposals after liaising with clients (design changes)
- Participate in technical and commercial negotiations
- Liaise with clients regarding new and existing enquiries
- Update proposal lists when new enquiries are received


Key Requirements:

- Strong background in mechanical or structural engineering
- 3+ years' experience in proposal development, tenders, costing, and estimation
- Excellent MS Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
