We are currently seeking an experienced Manifest Clerk to join our team at our Brisbane depot. This role involves ensuring accurate data entry into our JAIX Freight System for drivers, utilizing attention to detail skills with a high level of accuracy.

You will be directly reporting to the Office Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring all paperwork is accurately processed and entered into the system
  2. Liaising with customers, drivers, depot managers, and other staff via phone, email, and in person
About the Role

As a Manifest Clerk, you will be responsible for various duties such as:

  1. Answering phones and redirecting calls professionally
  2. Taking pickup enquiries and bookings
  3. Providing administrative support as required
  4. Creating manifests for freight
  5. Performing general office tasks like filing, photocopying, and scanning
About You

We are looking for someone with:

  1. Previous experience in an administrative data entry position
  2. Able to work in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines
  3. Demonstrated experience with consignment notes and manifests (desirable)
  4. Strong Australian geographical knowledge
  5. High attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  6. Excellent communication, time management, and multi-tasking abilities
