Job Opportunity: Drill and Blast Operations Leadership
We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee drill and blast operations in our organization.
Our ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of fostering a safe working environment, proven experience as a drill and blast supervisor, and the ability to effectively lead and mentor teams to drive performance outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Effective Utilisation of Personnel and Equipment: To meet production targets and goals.
- Communication: Clearly convey drill and blast requirements at pre-shift meetings.
- Work-Crew Responsibilities: Coordinate work-crew tasks, ensuring employees are aware of changes and competent to carry out responsibilities.
Experience in open pit mining within a Nickel, Copper, Gold, Lithium or Iron ore background is highly regarded. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships across departments.
