Drill and Blast Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive production efficiency by effectively utilizing personnel and equipment.
- Coordinate with teams to communicate drill and blast requirements prior to project commencement.
- Ensure a seamless work-crew experience by allocating responsibilities and ensuring employees are aware of changes.
- Maintain a culture of safety awareness among employees, promoting compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
- Provide expert advice on Drill and Blast operations to drive project success.
- Manage blast notifications and clearances efficiently.
- Monitor shift performance to optimize drill and blast targets.
- Report any significant deviations from drilling and blasting plans to the Project Manager.
About You:
- Unrestricted shotfirers qualification.
- A proven track record of fostering a safe working environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills as a Drill and Blast Supervisor leading high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
