Customer Service Representative

We are currently seeking an exceptional customer service professional to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.

  • Meet and greet customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager/Team Leader to provide seamless customer experiences, upholding best practice service standards for vehicle rentals.
  • Dispatch and return rental cars and campervans, including delivering detailed demonstrations on operational features.
  • Conduct thorough pre-hire vehicle inspections and quality checks to ensure vehicles meet high standards.
  • Promote sales of rentals, excess reductions, and ancillary services.
  • Perform interior and exterior car and campervan detailing.
  • Participate in campervan linen laundry to support the team.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy branch environment.
  • Negotiate effectively with external service providers.
Requirements:
  • Proven expertise in delivering outstanding face-to-face customer interactions.
  • A passion for working in the Tourism or Rental Vehicle Industry.
  • Previous experience with rental car and campervan operations is desirable.
  • Effective sales skills are highly valued.
  • The ability to multitask in fast-paced environments and remain composed under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and negotiation is essential.
  • Proficiency in operating software applications, including Rental Reservation Systems.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and service centers.
  • Basic knowledge of minor domestic car/campervan repairs.
  • Vehicle detailing experience is highly beneficial.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
