Job Overview:

The Navy seeks a highly skilled Marine Vessel Assurance Professional to support the Surface Fleet. This role will be based at one of multiple locations, where you'll collaborate across defence and industry to achieve objectives.

This opportunity offers rewarding experiences in engineering services delivery, allowing access to the latest technologies and mentorship from experts. You'll work closely with the OPV Class Lifecycle Engineering Officer (CLEO) to coordinate inputs into the MV Seaworthiness assurance program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee maintenance activities and ensure compliance with approved systems.
  • Review key activity and status reports as required.
  • SUPPORT COMMONWEALTH IN ENGAGING AND MANAGING ENTERPRISE OPERATIONS ACROSS CAPABILITY MANAGEMENT, ASSET MANAGEMENT, AND MAINTENANCE DELIVERY.
  • Act as an advisor on policy and strategy implementation, providing guidance to teams.
  • Contribute to operational plans that impact results of Function/Product Line.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline is required, along with minimum Cert IV in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent industry experience. A minimum of six (6) years' experience in technical fields, including manufacture, maintenance, testing, or maintenance management, is also essential.
