Marine Operations Coordinator

The Marine Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting marine activities, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional technical and operational services to support marine activities.
  • Support marine operations by providing guidance and oversight to assigned resources and contractors.
  • Implement health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) management practices for marine contractors, emphasizing safety culture and performance.
  • Develop and execute marine operations annual HSSE plan, fostering a robust safety culture within logistics operations, to manage risks and ensure adherence to HSSE cases for major contracts and activities.
  • Support emergency response procedures and capability, engaging with internal and external staff to align marine services activities with company standards.
  • Collaborate with Prelude and projects to ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely project delivery.

Marine Technical Support:

  • Oversee daily operational support for all Support Vessel operations related to cargo transportation and offshore transfers.
  • Progress Dynamic Positioning related vessel mobilization and operational issues/solutions, interfacing with the Shell Houston based Marine Risk Team.
  • Respond to and follow up on DP related issues and incidents, leading assurance for marine services related deliverables.
  • Interface with Prelude Integrated Engineering teams, providing relevant documents to chartered Support vessels and maintaining up-to-date information.
  • Attend daily marine calls and hold the marine duty phone on a rotational basis.
  • Provide specific marine support for Shutdowns, acting as an interface for marine operations and providing associated marine technical support.
  • Support the GMAS Request and approval Processes for vessels, operators, and workscope clearances.
