Marine Trimmer

The Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Marine Trimmer to join our crew. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, has a solid background in marine trimming, and can confidently manage projects independently from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and fit marine upholstery, covers, clears, biminis canopies and hardware
• Work with a range of materials including canvas, vinyl, and mesh
• Install marine covers and upholstery on-site and in workshop
• Liaise directly with clients and team members to ensure quality and timely completion
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

About You:

• Formal training/qualifications preferred but not essetinal
• Proven experience in marine trimming or a similar upholstery trade (min 3 years)
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• A problem-solver with a proactive attitude
• Full, clean driver's licence (essential)

Bonus Skills (Not Required But Beneficial):

• Experience operating industrial sewing machines
• Pattern-making or templating experience
• Familiarity with digital design tools or templating systems
