The Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Marine Trimmer to join our crew. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, has a solid background in marine trimming, and can confidently manage projects independently from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and fit marine upholstery, covers, clears, biminis canopies and hardware
- Work with a range of materials including canvas, vinyl, and mesh
- Install marine covers and upholstery on-site and in workshop
- Liaise directly with clients and team members to ensure quality and timely completion
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
About You:
- Formal training/qualifications preferred but not essetinal
- Proven experience in marine trimming or a similar upholstery trade (min 3 years)
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A problem-solver with a proactive attitude
- Full, clean driver's licence (essential)
Bonus Skills (Not Required But Beneficial):
- Experience operating industrial sewing machines
- Pattern-making or templating experience
- Familiarity with digital design tools or templating systems
