Position Summary:

We are in search of a proactive and experienced leader to join our team as a Senior Project Manager. This pivotal role will involve overseeing the planning and governance of significant capital initiatives.

Reporting directly to the Manager of Capital Projects Delivery, you will play a crucial role in the strategic execution of capital projects, ensuring compliance with established standards and driving continuous improvement. Your leadership will guide a team of project managers in both program and project planning, fostering a collaborative environment where expertise is shared.

Utilizing your exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, you will engage with both internal and external stakeholders, diligently monitoring project timelines and assessing outcomes.

This position offers flexibility in location, allowing for a base in various regions, with necessary visits to our operational offices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Diploma in Project Management or equivalent, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in managing large-scale, complex projects.
  • Proven project management capabilities with a track record of leading and executing diverse tasks.
  • Strong ability to oversee project performance in collaboration with project managers.
  • Proficient in negotiating with key stakeholders and external partners.
  • Capable of working independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
  • Adaptable to evolving circumstances and demands, maintaining a constructive approach.
  • Competent in interpreting work scopes and relevant documentation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Workplace Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Equal Employment Opportunity policies and standards.
