Role Responsibilities:
We are in search of a proactive leader to join our team as a Senior Project Manager, where you will be instrumental in the strategic planning and governance of our capital initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Manager of Capital Projects Delivery, your role will involve:
- Supporting the strategic execution of capital projects while ensuring compliance with established standards and driving continuous improvement.
- Leading and mentoring a team of project managers throughout the planning and execution phases of various programs and projects.
- Utilizing your advanced interpersonal and negotiation skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring project timelines and evaluating outcomes to ensure successful delivery.
This position offers flexibility in terms of location, allowing for work from various sites as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A Diploma in Project Management or equivalent, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in managing large-scale, complex projects.
- Proven project management capabilities with a strong ability to lead and implement tasks effectively.
- Experience in overseeing project performance and guiding project managers.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to engage key stakeholders and external partners.
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Adaptability to changing circumstances and demands in a constructive manner.
- Proficiency in interpreting work scopes and relevant documentation.
- Comprehensive understanding of Workplace Health and Safety, Safety in Design, Environmental, Quality, and Equal Employment Opportunity policies and standards.
