Job Title: Senior Grant Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Grant Manager.

  • The role involves managing grant-related tasks, ensuring the program runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, addressing queries from contractors, applicants, and the public about the program.
  • We are looking for someone who can resolve customer issues promptly and courteously, assessing applications and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for escalating concerns to their supervisor/manager as needed.
  • In addition, you will set, monitor, and review performance KPIs with staff, addressing any issues promptly.
  • The ideal candidate will maintain high standards of grant management practice through continuous improvement and issue identification.
  • You will also prepare accurate and timely data and reporting for ministerial and other requests.
  • We are looking for someone who can consult and collaborate with supervisors and staff on customer service, policy, procedures, and standards.
  • The role involves working with internal and external stakeholders to foster productive relationships, ensuring program success.
  • You will also be responsible for monitoring finance and invoicing activities.
  • Maintaining a workplace safety culture by applying relevant policies and practices is also essential.
  • The successful candidate will maintain an effective records management system, adhering to legislation and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work and positive relationships.
  • Candidate must have the capacity to drive continuous improvement by identifying and sharing innovative ideas.
  • Ability to approach challenges energetically, set priorities, and meet deadlines is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will have the capacity to mentor, coach, and implement development opportunities for staff.
  • Sound judgment in decision making and rigorous research and analysis is required.
  • Desirable experience with SmartyGrants platform is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage grant-related tasks to ensure program efficiency.

  • Evaluate and improve grant management processes.
