About The Role

The Senior Project Officer role plays a pivotal part in the administration of grant programs related to tourism.

We are seeking a suitable candidate who can undertake assessment processes, develop grant contracts with successful applicants and manage grant deeds under contract using a grants administration framework.

Main Responsibilities
  • Track and report progress on grants and projects, providing advice to management as needed.
  • Support workload management, meet deadlines and complete tasks independently and within a team.
  • Provide administrative support for funding rounds, grant programs and related projects, including assessing applications.
  • Engage with stakeholders to deliver grant programs.
  • Develop grant deeds, implement grant projects, guidelines and evaluation processes, ensuring project information is available to assess status and meet reporting requirements.
  • Foster a workplace culture that supports First Nations people and actively engages to contribute to better outcomes.
