Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

The primary goal of this role is to manage material purchasing efficiently, leveraging MRP principles to guarantee product availability meets business requirements. This position entails reviewing operational consumable cost improvement opportunities across manufacturing facilities.

A key responsibility of the Supply Chain Optimization Specialist will be maintaining accurate Master data for the MRP controller and collaborating with procurement teams to minimize supply disruptions. The incumbent will create purchase orders (POs) and stock transfer orders (STOs) based on SAP required dates, confirm POs following supplier feedback, and address service level issues for production planners and first-line managers.

To ensure success in this position, a development plan will be established, and the Supply Chain Optimization Specialist will adhere to standard work procedures, including daily, monthly, and quarterly activities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying areas of improvement and implementing process enhancements.
