Sourcing Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing and procuring products, materials, and components, preferably in the furniture/mattress industry.

You will be responsible for finding alternative factory options for existing products, as well as sourcing new factory options for new product design needs.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude, be proactive, and able to navigate different cultures, languages, and geopolitics.

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be working closely with the internal team and external suppliers to ensure that all requirements are met.

Your goal will be to find multiple manufacturing solutions that meet our quality and cost targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in sourcing and procuring products, materials, and components
  • Knowledge of the furniture/mattress industry
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive approach and willingness to learn quickly
