You will play a key role in procuring materials and managing supplier relationships to support our Melbourne operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong supplier partnerships and material supply programs.
- Support data management, analysis, and cost reduction activities with ANZ Regional Procurement.
- Oversee forecasting, quality processes, and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Maintain records of raw material costs, exchange rates, and local agreements.
- Contribute to project savings and provide insights on new products and opportunities for R&D.
- Authorize invoices and ensure accurate pricing.
- Implement process improvements in operations.
- Ensure safe work practices and address safety concerns in the supply chain.
- Prior experience in procurement, preferably within manufacturing.
- Strong planning, sourcing, negotiation, tendering, and contract management skills.
- Able to manage multiple procurement activities from start to finish.
- High level of maturity and credibility to influence others and build strong internal and external relationships.
