Job Title:

Workforce Solutions Specialist

As a Workforce Solutions Specialist, you will make a lasting impact by supporting individuals living with mental health conditions into meaningful employment.

You will work within an evidence-based service using the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Model to deliver high-quality support services that help build inclusive communities.

About the Role
  • Deliver services using the IPS Model to support participants in achieving their employment goals and aspirations.
  • Provide tailored, person-centred support that empowers participants to achieve sustainable employment outcomes through partnerships with local employers.
  • Collaborate with NDIS and community providers to ensure wrap-around supports for participants' wellbeing and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities for participants.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify participant needs and develop effective support plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate participant progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure successful employment outcomes.

To be successful as a Workforce Solutions Specialist, you will need:

  • A relevant Certificate III or higher qualification in Employment Services, Community Services, Mental Health, or related field.
  • Experience in employment services, mental health support, or disability services, with a focus on person-centred approaches.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with participants, their supports, and employers.
