Job Overview

The role of an Area Planner requires strategic planning and effective leadership skills to achieve maximum value in the North Eastern Victoria cluster.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Promote efficient grain planning by leading weekly activities for the cluster, ensuring seamless execution of grains plans ranging from receival and outload tasks to hygiene and fumigations.
  • Collaborate with Area Managers to optimize performance against established plans for the cluster.
  • Work closely with the Asset Planner and Operations teams to ensure optimal asset allocation and utilization.
  • Contribute to the development of planning tools and recommend continuous improvements.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in intake and outloading plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and SAP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in freight scheduling.
  • Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Able to travel to various cluster sites monthly.
