Job Opportunity

This role presents a unique opportunity to work in a strategic planning capacity for the region. Based in Bannockburn, you will have access to a great location and an easy commute from surrounding cities.

This is a permanent full-time position that offers the chance to grow within the organization. Part-time or job share arrangements are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be a motivated and experienced Strategic Planner who can play a lead role in the initiation and development of land use policy for the area.

Maintaining, reviewing and amending the local planning scheme so that it implements the vision and aspirations of the community is also a key responsibility of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and develop land use policy for the region.
  • Maintain, review and amend the local planning scheme.
  • Coordinate strategic planning projects.

Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, preferably in local government, is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.

  • Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
