Regional Accounting Specialist
OverviewThe Regional Accounting Specialist will be the key reporting, accounting and internal controls lead for regional operations outside of North America. This role works in partnership with various departments to ensure timely delivery of financials and other required submissions.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure period, quarter and year-end activities are completed on time.
- Conduct structured analysis/reconciliation to ensure the quality of accounts.
- Review periodic, quarterly and annual financial accounts with Finance Business Partners.
- Provide Finance Manual analysis to support decision-making.
- Oversee the implementation of the control framework, controls testing plans and execution.
- University degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- CPA or other professional certification is an asset.
- Strong accounting and analytical skills.
- Experience with Financial Statement reporting obligations.
- Ability to analyze financial reports for accuracy and reasonableness.
