Demand Planning Specialist Role

As a Demand Planning Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic supply chain team, driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

About the Job:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities.
  • Partner with marketing, sales, and regional supply chain teams to align forecasts with business objectives and promotional plans.
  • Use advanced tools to analyze sales trends, identify gaps, and provide actionable insights to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Work closely with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability and resolve supply chain disruptions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance planning processes, implement best practices, and drive efficiency across the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with Supply Planner to ensure optimal inventory levels meet customer demand while minimizing excess and obsolescence.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate strong demand planning and forecasting skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable plans.
  • Possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Have a solid understanding of supply chain processes, including inventory management and performance tracking.
  • Be highly organized, with strong time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Utilize data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, or other planning software) to drive informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to support business operations.

  • Are proficient in using data-driven insights to drive business growth and improvement.
