Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future workforce of our organization by developing and executing mid-to-long term talent acquisition strategies to meet forecasted workforce needs.

Key responsibilities include supporting the creation and maintenance of talent communities to ensure a steady pipeline of candidates, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance employer brand and attract top talent, identifying top active talent in the market and providing strategic recruitment advice and guidance to business units ensuring alignment with policies and procedures.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or similar.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience within a recruitment function.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment or talent acquisition functions.
  • Experience in a similar role with specific experience in leading recruitment partnering solutions within a complex program.
  • Ability to grow and maintain strong trusted stakeholder relationships.
  • Effective project management skills with well-developed time management skills to plan workload manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Naturally inquisitive and confident in questioning areas of uncertainty.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

The successful candidate will also need to obtain and maintain a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level.
