Job Title: Head of Commercial Data

At Seven West Media, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Commercial Data to lead our commercial data strategy and drive business value from data solutions.

About the Role

The Head of Commercial Data will be responsible for developing and executing a product roadmap across both linear and digital platforms, driving the future trading vision, and staying up-to-date on industry trends in data collection, identity, and monetization.

This role requires a strategic, innovative, and data-driven leader who can inspire and develop a high-performing team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and represent Seven West Media in key industry initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute a product roadmap across both linear and digital platforms.
  • Drive the future trading vision, enabling seamless cross-screen trading experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends in data collection, identity, and monetization, integrating these into our data strategy.
  • Position Seven West Media as a data-driven, innovative media company with a forward-thinking approach to trading and audience insights.
  • Represent Seven West Media in key industry initiatives, such as VOZ and the IAB Data Council, to help shape data standards and practices.
  • Lead and mentor a Commercial Data Manager.
  • Democratize access to data within Seven West Media, making insights accessible to all levels of the organization, via our data intelligence platform, 7RedIQ.
  • Collaborate with core sales teams to develop data-driven client strategies that enhance ROI and deliver measurable results.
  • Identify and execute strategic party data partnerships to evolve Seven West Media's data offering.
  • Drive and track revenue generation through all commercial data initiatives, aligning strategy with financial objectives.
About You

You will be a strategic, innovative, and data-driven leader with a proven track record in senior data roles, a strong focus on driving business value from data, and expertise in key media technology platforms (GA, SSP, DSP, DMP, CDP).

You will also have a client-centric mindset, the ability to adapt strategies to meet evolving market needs, and strong interpersonal skills to bring stakeholders onboard with new ideas and data strategies.
