About the Role

This part-time permanent position involves providing effective pastoral care services to residents and their families, ensuring they receive care that meets their individual needs. You will work collaboratively with the service manager and staff to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pastoral care services to residents and their families
  • Work collaboratively with the service manager and staff
  • Develop and implement pastoral care plans for residents
  • Provide spiritual support to residents of all faiths
  • Participate in Ecumenical Church services
Requirements
  • Background and qualifications in pastoral care or counselling
  • Previous experience in aged care is highly desirable
  • Ability to demonstrate Catholic Healthcare's values of compassion, courage, and integrity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
