Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Spiritual Care Professional to provide effective pastoral care services to residents and their families. This role involves working collaboratively with the service manager and staff to ensure residents receive personalized care appropriate to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide spiritual care services to residents and their families, including weekly Ecumenical Church services.
  • Collaborate with the service manager and staff to develop individualized care plans for residents.
  • Conduct regular visits and assessments to identify residents' spiritual needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address spiritual care needs, such as counseling and worship services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Background and qualifications in pastoral care or counseling (Clinical Pastoral Education, Theology, or Spirituality).
  • Previous experience in an aged care environment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to demonstrate Catholic Healthcare's values of compassion, courage, and integrity.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
